New York’s Best Basketball
Basketball fans on Long Island were making a mistake – heading into choked Madison Square Garden to see games. We pointed out that the best game in NYC was the opposite direction, at Hofstra. More affordable, friendly and fun, a Hofstra game was a better way to take the family out, spend less and get back home sooner.
The integrated campaign, using commuter trains and platforms, local TV, radio and newspaper outlets, changed the game, with ticket sales and attendance jumping 25%, and media coverage up 35%.
